The practical: Find the volume of dilute sulfuric acid that exactly neutralises 25.0 cm³ of 0.100 mol/dm³ sodium hydroxide solution, then (Higher tier) the acid’s concentration in mol/dm³ and g/dm³.
The pack a busy department needs before the lesson: an apparatus list per group with what to check, reagents and their preparation, a risk assessment, and a lesson plan in nine timed steps from planning to evaluation. The expected-results section gives the ranges the model predicts for a careful group, labelled as the model’s, not as a promise.
Exam questions come with full mark schemes, followed by the common mistakes and what students say when they make them.
